Holy moly it took me so long to find where the Submit Deviation button was having not used this site for the past, what, year? ie. a very long time.
He was originally going to be a brolga-man but then I realised I couldn't colour for beans so he's now some sort of white bird. man. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. I adore the colours in this image. They're beautiful and warm. You really used a love palette with the purples and yellows contrasting so nicely. I love the clouds catching the yellow rays on them.
The bird man is wonderfully executed. I really enjoy the wings and how they aren't the typical huge angel wings that you see on most bird people.
seriously. come on and give the rest of us a chance to look half-decent.
I also want to be a white bird-woman now.

Just this beautiful, complex, wonderfully unfathomable, *natural* world. How does it so fail to hold our attention that we have to diminish it with the invention of cheap man-made myths and monsters?
